Reflets d'un monde qui se noie
Mixed Media on canvas |40 x 40 in | 100 x 100 cm
The genesis of the painting is inspired by the stories told by the students who attended the "Atelier en histoire(s)" workshop in Bangladesh in February. Upon her return to France, the artist translated each of these texts in a book in which she co-wrote an iconography inspired by single words. One can find in these individual stories signs of unease in the face of globalization, but also an attachment to universal values such as the thirst for justice or the desire to find simple joys, offered by natural environment much too often destroyed as a result of the race for profit.
